Product design
One of my main tasks, was to create new user experiences and designs on existing product offerings where design and functionality was outdated.
At the same time also maintaining and updating the current design system, to be more scalable, accessable, flexible and user-friendly, across four different platforms.
All designs had to reflect an already defined Grundfos design language.
Design systems
I was also hired to lead component governance, gathering requirements, and ensuring accessibility, modularity and cross-platform consistency.
I collaborated with designers, development and business to align design and implementation, created clear requirements and guidelines, and helped scale systems that support both digital and physical products.
Human Machine Interface (HMI)
Grundfos is slowly replacing their old pump controllers with new touch screen interfaces. I was hired as a lead designer and my responsibilities where:
Gather technical and business requirements and align across the organisation.
Lead the design and development of the overall user experience as well as designing the UX/UI for individual pump control features.
Build a Figma design library consisting of HMI reusable components and guidelines.
